PepTide is a local-first application. All data you enter — including cycle configurations, dose logs, and research notes — is stored exclusively on your device using secure local storage. We do not collect, transmit, or have any access to your personal data.
We do not collect: personal identifiers (name, email, phone number) beyond an optional local display name, health or biometric data, usage analytics or telemetry, advertising identifiers, or location data.
PepTide stores the following data locally on your device only: cycle configurations and dose schedules, dose log history, research notes, app preferences and settings, and your optional display name. This data never leaves your device and is not backed up to any external server by this application.
PepTide makes limited network requests for specific, user-initiated features only: (1) looking up compound information from PubChem, a public NIH database, when you search for a peptide, and (2) generating a suggested research protocol (dosage, half-life, and related reference data) for a peptide name via our backend, which forwards the request to OpenAI. These requests send only the peptide name you searched for — never your cycle data, dose logs, notes, or any personal identifiers.
PepTide does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or data-collection services. The only third parties involved are PubChem (public compound data) and OpenAI (protocol text generation), both used solely as described above.
If you grant notification permissions, dose reminder notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device using local notifications. No notification data is sent to any external server.
You can delete all app data at any time from Settings → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the application from your device will also permanently remove all stored data.
PepTide is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
